Cookie Policy

1. What are cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on the user's device when they visit a website. They allow the site to remember preferences and browsing behaviours.

In addition to traditional cookies, similar technologies such as tracking pixels, web beacons and localStorage may be used. In this policy, all these technologies are referred to collectively as "cookies".

2. First-party and third-party cookies

First-party cookies: installed directly by ClientiPerFotovoltaico on the domain clientiperfotovoltaico.it. The owner has full control over these cookies.

Third-party cookies: installed by external parties (Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc. and others) via scripts or pixels on the site's pages. Third parties manage their own cookies independently according to their respective privacy policies. Some third parties are based in the USA: data transfers are made with the guarantees required by Arts. 44-49 GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission).

3. Category A — Technically necessary cookies

Essential for the correct functioning of the site. No consent is required under Art. 122(1) of the Italian Privacy Code and Recital 25 of the ePrivacy Directive. These cannot be disabled without impairing site functionality.

4. Category B — Third-party analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4)

They collect statistical and aggregate information on site usage: pages visited, time on site, traffic source, device type. Data is processed anonymously and in aggregate form and does not allow direct identification of the user.

Legal basis: consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 Italian Privacy Code). Analytics cookies are loaded only after the user has given explicit consent via the cookie banner.

5. Category C — Marketing and profiling cookies (third parties)

Marketing and profiling cookies are used to:

  • show personalised advertisements based on the user's interests;
  • measure the effectiveness of online advertising campaigns;
  • build profiles of the user's browsing habits and behaviour, including on websites other than the one visited;
  • share data with third-party advertising networks (Google LLC, Meta Platforms Inc.) for profiling and retargeting purposes.

Data processed through these cookies may be transferred to the USA to Google LLC and Meta Platforms Inc., with the guarantees required by Arts. 44-49 GDPR (Standard Contractual Clauses).

Current status: no marketing or profiling cookies are currently installed or active on this site. The technical infrastructure is set up for future advertising campaigns. If activated, this Cookie Policy will be updated and users will be asked for new explicit consent.

Legal basis when active: explicit consent of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Marketing and profiling cookies are never installed without prior and granular consent. Consent may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Google Consent Mode v2

This site implements Google Consent Mode v2. Before consent, all non-necessary cookie categories are set to "denied". Only after the user's explicit consent are the permitted categories updated. Parameters managed: analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization.

7. Managing and withdrawing consent

On first visit, a banner is shown with three options:

  • Accept all — technical + analytics + marketing
  • Necessary only — technical cookies only
  • Customise — granular choice per category

Preferences are saved in localStorage for 12 months. You can modify or withdraw consent at any time by clicking "Manage cookies" in the footer of every page.

8. Data subject rights
